At an IQ of 145 and above the ratio of men to women is 8:1

Men and women have different kinds of intelligence. Men are stronger on reasoning, mathematical and spatial abilities, while women are as strong on verbal intelligence, and stronger on foreign language ability. Also the range of intelligence is greater in men than in women, such that there are more men with very high IQs and with very low IQs. In addition, men have a higher average IQ than women. This advantage is sustained by the larger average male brain, although it begins to appear only at the age of 16, and reaches about 5 IQ points among adults.
