Race, education and life expectancy in the United States

Nationally, 50% of Asian-American adults have a college degree, compared with 31% of whites, 17% of African-Americans and 13% of Hispanics. Asian-Americans have a life expectancy of 87 years compared with 79 years for whites and 73 years for African-Americans.
