Diversity and the diamond business

Orthodox Jews have controlled Antwerp's diamond market for centuries, but are now facing greater competition from diamond merchants who have migrated to Antwerp from India. The increasing threat to their wealth from these non-white immigrants has resulted in a growing number of Antwerp Jews becoming supporters of the anti-immigrant political party Vlaams Belang, previously known as Vlaams Blok. Apparently, Jews only support non-white immigration and diversity when it is not a threat to their economic livelihood.
