A Muslim actress' father and brother have been charged with threatening to kill her after a bust-up over her new boyfriend

Afshan Azad, who has appeared in several Harry Potter films, hails from a strict Muslim family. She was attacked at her parents’ home ­after she had started dating the new guy. Her father Abdul, 54, has appeared in court accused of threatening to kill her. The actress’s brother Ashraf, 28, faces the same charge and an allegation that he assaulted her causing actual bodily harm. The fracas is said to have happened at the Azad family home in Longsight, Manchester, in May 2010. Both men were granted bail on condition they do not contact the actress at her new London home.
