Olympic gold medalist Jenny Thompson was attacked in Brookline by 2 black males

According to a police report, 2 dark-skinned black males got out of a car and approached Jenny Thompson and one black male proceeded to punch her in the face, then pushed her down and tried to take her scooter. She fought them off and was screaming at the top of her lungs and people came out of the nearby houses. The black men ran off, leaving her and the scooter behind. Thompson was bleeding from a cut on her nose when police arrived. She also had scrapes on her knees and arms. She was treated by an ambulance crew but was not taken to the hospital. She is now trying to move on from the attack.
