Tel Aviv rabbis say that renting apartments to African foreign workers violates Jewish law

Twenty-five rabbis from Tel Aviv have signed an edict forbidding the rental of apartments to illegal foreign workers. The Jewish authors of a petition on the subject say that they will not let the neighborhoods in which they grew up to turn into Sudanese neighborhoods. The rabbis hope that the efforts of those who toil to defend the Jewish character of Tel Aviv be strengthened.
