Hispanics are the largest and fastest growing minority group in the United States and also have the lowest educational attainment level of any group

At present, the nation’s 50.5 million Hispanics comprise 16% of the U.S. population. But by 2050, that percentage is projected to expand to 30%. The country’s Hispanic population grew 43% over the last decade. Nationally, only 19% of Latino adults have a college degree, compared to 42% of whites and 26% of African-American adults.
