A Jewish manager of child actors who have appeared on Nickelodeon and The Disney Channel has been arrested for molesting one of his clients

Martin Weiss, 47, has been arrested following a two-week criminal investigation that was sparked by an 18-year-old man who claimed that he was abused by Weiss as a child. The victim told police that he had sex with Weiss 30 to 40 times about six years ago, and the abuse ended when he turned 15 years old. Detective John Alviani said that Weiss' bail was set at $300,000, triple the standard amount due to the multiple counts of abuse. According to an affidavit, Weiss admitted that he had sexual contact with the victim, but denied that it was rape, saying that the victim showed interest. In an email to his clients, Weiss, who started Martin Weiss Management in the 1990s, announced that he was dismantling his firm.
