A black Marine has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for his role in the shooting death of another Marine in a dispute over drug money

An Orange County judge has sentenced 24-year-old Alvin Reed Lovely of Dallas for the killing of 20-year-old Stephen Serrano, who was shot in a secluded area of San Clemente in 2008. Lovely pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and making criminal threats with a sentencing enhancement for using a firearm.
