A Hispanic charged previously with raping a woman after telling her he would perform a spiritual cleansing on her has been accused of a second rape using the same ruse

Alberto Flores Ramirez, 37, raped both women in a Santa Ana, California motel room during a cleansing involving raw egg, drinking glasses and ammonia. The latest victim only come forward after watching reports of Ramirez's first victim on a Spanish-speaking channel. She told authorities that she also met Ramirez at the Aloha Motel in February 2012 after he promised her a spiritual cleansing. She had taken a bus from Las Vegas in the hopes that Ramirez, whom she met online, would help her with her love life. He told her to take off her clothes, but she kept on her underwear before lying down. He then poured ammonia on her head, making her dizzy, before forcibly performing oral sex on her and raping her. Ramirez also unsuccessfully tried to force her to perform oral sex on him. He had lured his first victim to the same motel by saying that he could help bring her children to California from Mexico. Once in the motel room, he rubbed raw eggs over the woman's body before fondling her and sexually assaulting her. Ramirez faces two counts each of forcible rape and forcible oral copulation. He also faces one count each of attempted forcible oral copulation and penetration by a foreign object by force. In addition, he now also faces extra sentencing for sex crimes against multiple victims. He faces up to 75 years to life if found guilty. A judge has increased his bail from $100,000 to $1 million.
