Is one of the factors causing the high black unemployment rate the fact that so few African-Americans speak Spanish?

Writer says that blacks should learn Spanish to improve their chances of getting jobs. Of course another thing that would improve the chances of blacks getting jobs would be deporting the large number of illegal Hispanic immigrants living in the United States.

    I think that you are right, its the high # of spanish speakers that are driving down wages and swamping the jobs market that are responsible for unemployment, not the fact that they can't speak a very narrowly regional language.

    Blacks do speak proper English very well in most cases, shuck and jive ebonics is hardly English. Press 3 for English.
