A Hispanic elementary school teacher-turned-drug dealer has been charged in the brutal murder and dismemberment of a 19-year-old woman

Luis Ruiz, 37, tortured and slaughtered Carina Saunders, whose remains were found stuffed into a duffel bag behind a grocery store in Bethany, Oklahoma in October 2011. Authorities believe Ruiz, a father of five, murdered Saunders to scare female witnesses so that they would cooperate with a drug and human trafficking ring he was involved in.
