Concerns have been raised that racial and ethnic minorities could miss out on the genomic revolution with much of the research focusing on white Europeans instead

According to geneticists Europeans were almost exclusively the subject of the gold standard of modern genomic studies - the results of which help many investigations into the genetic roots of disease and development. And the experts have said that this means a vast swathe of the world's population may not benefit from the research.
