The percentage of
Latinos ages 25 to 34 who had a bachelor’s degree or higher increased only 1 percentage point to a total of 9%, compared with 32% for whites. Latinos are expected to make up a majority of Arizona’s population and wage earners in the future. Latinos make up nearly one-third of the state’s population and about 47% of its children under 19.
