Mitt Romney told the NAACP that Obama has made it worse for African-Americans in almost every way

Romney points out that, under Obama, the unemployment rate, the duration of unemployment, average income and median family wealth are all worse for the black community. Obama carried the black vote in a landslide in 2008 and leads Romney 92% to 2% among black voters, according to a recent Quinnipiac University poll. Romney is hoping that the 14.4% unemployment among African-Americans — well above the national average of 8.2% — will make them more amenable to his argument. He also pointed out that black children are 17% of students nationwide — but they are 42% of the students in the worst-performing schools in the United States.

  1. There is one way in which he hasn't made it worse. They now have one of their own fellow tribalists in power, or so they believe.
