Are Hispanics causing a decline in the labor participation rate?
If the same percentage of adults were in the workforce today as when Barack Obama took office, the unemployment rate would be 11.1%. If the percentage was where it was when George W. Bush took office, the unemployment rate would be 13.1%. Over the last decade we have seen a major increase in the size of the Latino population. Could an increasing Hispanic population cause the white and black unemployed to drop out of the labor force?

lower wages and reduced/impaired/destroyed social networks are causing that decline. Hispanics(foreigners period) are causing the above.
