Obama's world: There are now more Puerto Ricans in Florida than in Puerto Rico

Between 1980 and 2000, the average annual migration of Puerto Ricans to the United States was 12,000 people. From 2010 to 2013 - when the economy started tanking - that figure jumped to 48,000 people per year.

Puerto Rico is officially part of the US and is like Hawaii or any other state in terms of completely unrestricted migration between US territories. None of this is new. And I don't see what any of it has to do with Obama.

If there was a Republican in the White House, the left would be blaming him for Puerto Rico's problems so why not blame Obama? Most of the blacks and Hispanics who voted for Obama thought that he would make things better but he hasn't. Maybe if we had a Republican in the White House things might be a little better for everyone?
