Among dialysis patients, Hispanics tend to live the longer than blacks, who in turn live longer than whites

Why do black and Hispanic dialysis patients live longer than whites? It may be that black and Hispanic patients with kidney disease are more likely to die before they develop kidney failure, and those surviving are generally healthier and hence more likely to live longer with kidney failure than whites.

Could also be because blacks, as a group, are not smart enough to carefully follow the instructions of their treatment providers...
