Chief rabbi of Samaria region says that if the IDF requires religious Jewish soldiers to attend events where women sing, soldiers should leave, even if a firing squad is waiting
According to Jewish law, it is forbidden for men to listen to a woman sing in person, as a women’s voice is considered akin to nakedness.

This is an outlier. There's always some rabbi who will go to extremes.
Most religious IDF soldiers will know of this rabbi's orientation, and will follow their own rabbis instead of him.
