Obesity and testosterone

Obesity, a condition linked to heart disease and diabetes, now appears to be associated with another health problem, but one that affects men only - low testosterone levels. Results of a study showed that 40% of obese participants had lower-than-normal testosterone readings. The percentage rose to 50% among obese men with diabetes. Results also revealed that as body mass index (BMI) increased, testosterone levels fell.
