Authorities are searching for a black man who is wanted in connection with a shooting that left a police officer with a gunshot wound to the foot

Police are looking for Durall Jessie Miller, 24. The officer who was shot was hospitalized in stable condition, authorities said. According to Miami-Dade police, the shooting happened when officers on patrol encountered gunfire. According to police, Miller has been identified as the shooter and he is wanted for two counts of attempted murder on a police officer. He was possibly last seen in a black, newer model Nissan SUV. Miller should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
