A black man who raped a stranger twice in three months in south London has been sentenced to 12 years in prison

Onile Huggins, 20, raped the 22-year-old woman on 12 April and 14 July 2010. The victim was first attacked as she returned home but did not report it. Three months later Huggins raped her again when he spotted her. Huggins was found guilty of two counts of rape in June 2011 at Inner London Crown Court. He was caught after DNA from a used condom found at the scene of the second attack linked him to the crime, the court heard. Huggins has already spent 399 days in custody, which will be deducted from his sentence, the court said.
