In 2010, according to the NYPD, blacks made up 52.6% of all rape suspects and 52.4% of all other felony sex crime suspects in NYC

It follows that blacks in New York City commit rape at 7.7 times the white rate and other sex crimes at 5.4 times the white rate. Unfortunately, they also receive preferential treatment by the NYPD: even though blacks account for 66.0% of all violent crime suspects, they are subject to only 54.5% of so-called Stop Question and Frisk activity — 17% under-represented. Whites are 63% over-represented.
