A new national poll shows that neither Wall Street nor Occupy Wall Street are conjuring up strong favorable impressions among the American public

Among 1,005 adults surveyed, 35% had a favorable impression of the protest movement that began in New York City and gained support worldwide. Only 16% could say the same for Wall Street and large corporations. Twenty-nine percent had a favorable impression of the tea party movement and 21% of government in Washington.

More people have a favorite opinion of the occupiers than the Tea Party? Did I read that right?

You have to remember that the Tea Party movement has been under almost constant attack from Big Media for the last couple of years. If you throw enough mud at anyone some of it is eventually going to stick. The OWS crowd, on the other hand, has been getting mostly positive press coverage from Big Media which likely explains why it is slightly more popular.
