Can America continue down the path Obama is taking us on, to a time soon and certain when a majority of wage-earners pay no income taxes but a majority of citizens receive federal benefits?

In 2010, some 4.4 million Americans were on welfare rolls, 22 million on government payrolls, 23 million were receiving Earned Income Tax Credit checks, 44 million were on food stamps, 50 million were on Medicaid, and 70 million wage-earners were paying no income taxes. Today, 47 million Americans are on food stamps at an annual cost of $72 billion. One in seven Americans cannot rely upon themselves or their families for their daily bread. Federal, state and local government together now consume 37% of the economy. For the first time since California entered the Union, the young and middle class are moving out, not in, heading for Colorado, Arizona, Idaho and Nevada. And California has become the destination of choice for the immigrant poor, legal and illegal - particularly Hispanics. How long can we continue like this?

The only things sustaining the current welfare state in the US beyond high taxation is the endless printing of money and sale of US debt to countries like China. Eventually the currency will be devalued to the point that hyperinflation will drive down the standard of living for people living in the US, and China and others will no longer buy our paper. Productive groups may eventually get wise and find ways to shield themselves from extraneous taxation out of spite.

Never thought that I would say this but maybe moving to Canada might be a good idea? From what I understand, whites make up a larger percentage of the population in Canada than they do in the U.S. Without so many blacks and Hispanics to support, their economy should be more sustainable in the long term than ours.

Canada actually has a higher foreign born population than America, and those are the high IQ tribalists.

If fleeing were an option, I'd still not be sure of where to flee to.
