Of Detroit's over 700,000 people, 82% are black
The predominantly-black city is also $18.5 billion in long-term debt, forcing the largest municipal bankruptcy in American history. In addition, Obama received 98% of Detroit's votes in the 2012 election. One of the main causes of the bankruptcy of Detroit has been the dispossession of whites and the rise of black power.

A leading Saudi cleric warned women who drive that cars could cause damage to their ovaries and pelvises and that they are at risk of having children born with "clinical problems"
Sheikh Saleh Al-Loheidan's widely derided remarks have gone viral as activists claim a website urging women to defy their country's driving ban has been blocked in Saudi Arabia. "If a woman drives a car," Al-Loheidan said, "it could have a negative physiological impact ... Medical studies show that it would automatically affect a woman's ovaries and that it pushes the pelvis upward." Explained Al-Loheidan, "We find that for women who continuously drive cars, their children are born with varying degrees of clinical problems." The controversial comments were widely interpreted throughout Saudi Arabia as an attempt to discourage women in the country from joining a popular online movement urging them to stage a demonstration by driving cars on October 26, 2013. The issue of women driving in the Islamic kingdom has long been a contentious one. And while such demonstrations are extremely rare, they have been staged at least twice before. In June 2011, dozens of women across Saudi Arabia participated in the "Women2Drive" campaign by driving throughout the streets of their cities. In 1991, a group of 47 women drove through the country's capital city, Riyadh. After being arrested, many were further punished by being banned from travel and suspended from their workplaces. In addition to prohibiting driving, the Muslim country's strict and compulsory guardianship system also prevents women from opening bank accounts, working, traveling and going to school without the express permission of their male guardian.
Children of color are disproportionately poor in the United States: 37.9% of black children and 33.8% of Hispanic children are poor while 12.3% of white, non-Hispanic children, are poor
Hispanic children are the largest group of poor children (5.98 million), white non-Hispanic children the second largest (4.78 million), and black children the third largest (4.20 million). Nearly 43% of Black children under age five — 1.27 million — are poor; nearly one in four are extremely poor. Bringing in more black and Hispanic immigrants will just increase the amount of poverty in the United States.
Black beauty pageant winner stripped of her title for not being Hispanic enough
Apparently you needed to be at least 25% Hispanic to participate. I guess Hispanics don't know that race is a social construct. Or maybe it is only white people who have to pretend to believe that nonsense.
Black women are about three times more likely to die at the hands of a partner or ex-partner than members of other racial groups
Intimate-partner homicide is also among the leading causes of death for black women ages 15 to 35. In 2010, 94% of black women killed by men in single victim/single offender incidents knew their killers. Nearly 15 times as many black women were murdered by a man they knew than were killed by a stranger and 64% of black victims who knew their offenders were wives, ex-wives or girlfriends of the offenders. The number of black women shot and killed by their husband or intimate partner was nearly five times as high as the total number murdered by strangers using all weapons combined. In 2011, 492 black females were murdered by males at a rate of 2.61 per 100,000, compared to a rate of 0.99 per 100,000 for white females.
Bond has been set at $1 million for a black man who shot and killed a church pastor as he preached in Lake Charles, Louisiana
Calcasieu Parish sheriff's deputies arrested 53-year-old Woodrow Karey and charged him with second-degree murder, after he called 911 and told the dispatcher what he had done, sheriff's spokesperson Kim Myers said. Witnesses told police that Karey walked into the Tabernacle of Praise Worship Center and shot Pastor Ronald Harris twice - the first time as he entered the church and then again at close range after Harris had fallen to the floor, Myers said. Karey fled the scene on foot but later called the sheriff's office and surrendered without incident, Myers said. During his arrest, Karey directed the deputies to two guns he had discarded in a wooded area. One of the firearms was a shotgun and the other was a pistol, police said. Police have not said which weapon was used to kill the pastor.
Karey has no known criminal history and it's not known what relationship he had to the pastor. The motive for the killing also is unknown, police said.

Crime and the black family: Mother and son arrested for strong-arm robbery spree outside Houston
Meet Gabrell Marie Melton and Eugene Brimzy III. The mother-son duo has been charged with a purse-robbing spree that targeted female victims shopping at Walmart and Burlington Coat Factory outlets outside Houston, Texas. The black duo attacked shoppers as they entered or exited mall stores. Three victims - including a 70-year-old woman who was battered by Brimzy - had their purses ripped from them by the pair. Melton, 38, and Brimzy, 21, drove around the city of Humble hunting for victims. The kin were apprehended after witnesses provided a description of their getaway car. They were named in criminal complaints charging them with aggravated robbery and robbery, both felonies.} The black family that robbed together now stays together (albeit in separate wings) in the Harris County jail. Brimzy is locked up in lieu of $40,000. Melton is being held on $60,000 bond since her rap sheet includes a prior felony narcotics distribution charge.
Why gays should not be allowed to become priests: A Philadelphia priest who narrowly escaped prosecution during a recent clergy abuse scandal that rocked the city's archdiocese has been arrested on charges that include raping an altar boy
In a grand jury presentation in 2005, the Philadelphia District Attorney's office revealed allegations against Father Robert Brennan, now 75, that included more than 20 alleged child sex abuse victims, according to Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams. All of the cases were beyond the statute of limitations, and Brennan was never charged in that case, Williams said at a press conference. That investigation led to the June 2012 child endangerment conviction of Monsignor William Lynn, the vicar of clergy for the diocese. The conviction marked the first time a U.S. church leader has been convicted of such a crime. Williams said that Lynn would've faced additional charges in connection with this case but that he avoided prosecution by three months due to the statute of limitations. In this new case, Brennan is charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and aggravated indecent assault in connection with alleged incidents that took place between 1998 and 2001 when the victim was 11 to 14 years old, according to Williams. The allegations include digital penetration and oral sex. He was arrested on September 25, 2013 in Maryland, according to a statement released by Williams' office. "A serial abuser is now behind bars thanks to the brave actions of this young man," Williams said, adding that the young man was prompted to report the alleged abuse in the wake of Lynn's conviction. Marci Hamilton represents the victim, now 26 years old, and two other alleged victims whose cases could not be prosecuted because they were beyond the statute of limitations.
The archdiocese stripped Brennan of most of his duties in September 2005, though he remained a priest. The diocese said in a statement that Brennan's laicization is in progress with the Holy See, but did not provide a date when that process began or when Brennan would be formally defrocked. The diocese says that it has "cooperated fully" with the current investigation. Williams commended the diocese for promptly reporting these most recent allegations. According to a statement released by Williams' office, the victim reported the abuse to the diocese in January 2013 and it was immediately brought to the attention of authorities. "It takes tremendous courage for any sexual assault victim to come forward and report the horrors he or she endured," the district attorney said.
Muslim barbarism in Kenya: Soldiers told of the horrific torture meted out by terrorists in the Nairobi mall massacre as hostages had been dismembered, had their eyes gouged out and were left hanging from hooks in the ceiling
Men had been castrated and had fingers removed with pliers before being blinded and hanged. Children were found dead in the food court fridges with knives still embedded in their bodies. A third of the mall was destroyed in the battle between Islamic terrorists and Kenyan troops.

Britain: A black rapist who posed as a gay Vogue photographer to snare wealthy young victims has been jailed for life
Fabio Moniz, 27, toured exclusive West End venues to charm women with his ‘cut glass’ accent and immaculate manners. But he poisoned them with the date rape drug GHB before subjecting them to sexual assaults. Moniz has been jailed for life and ordered to serve a minimum of nine years for raping two women.
According to the National Center for Education Statistics, white fourth-graders performed better than their black peers on 2007 standardized mathematics exams in all 46 states where results were available
In 2004, there was a 23-point gap in mathematics scale scores between white and black 9-year-olds, with the gap growing to 26 points for 13-year-olds.
Jews and the slave trade in Europe

Even if they come from affluent families or attend highly rated schools, black students in Ohio continue to lag far behind their white peers in school, according to an analysis of data from state standardized exams
On more than two dozen state tests given to students in kindergarten through high school in 2012, the average passage rate among black students was 64%. On average, 87% of white students passed. Average passing rates among affluent white students in 2012 topped those of affluent black students by 16 percentage points. Poor, white students outperformed black students from poor and wealthy families. The poverty rate among blacks in the United States - 25.8%, according to Census data - is higher than any other race except Native Americans. Sixty-one percent of black students in Ohio pass the third-grade reading test, compared with 87% of white students. That’s important because one study found that students who don’t read proficiently by third grade are four times less likely to graduate by age 19. It’s 19 times less likely for poor students who don’t read well by third grade. Some of the widest gaps in Ohio are in urban schools, which have long struggled to improve scores among large minority populations. In 2010, less than 5% of black students passed the Ohio third-grade reading exam at Lincoln Park Elementary, a majority black school at the time. More than 70% of white students at the Columbus school passed. But even in suburban districts, including Dublin, Worthington and Westerville, there are schools where whites routinely outperform blacks by wide margins. McVay Elementary School in Westerville has had some of the widest gaps in third-grade reading proficiency between black and white students for the past five years. The smallest gap in that period was 20 percentage points. “When you’re talking about a racial gap, it’s a pretty uncomfortable subject,” Principal Amy Miller said. “But you have to just say, ‘This is our data and it’s telling us something matters here, and we need to figure out what to do about it.’ ”
A new paper by psychologists at Harvard and the University of Cologne suggests that a healthy dose of distrust is an antidote to racism, sexism, and other forms of stereotyping - a mistrustful person, the researchers found, is a less biased one
The psychologists Ann-Christin Posten and Thomas Mussweiler primed their German test subjects to feel either trusting or mistrustful. In one study, the experimenters had subjects play a game with a partner who turned out to be either trustworthy or not, in another they were primed by the German words vertrauen (to trust) or misstrauen (to distrust) in milliseconds-long flashes on a screen—too fast for conscious awareness. Afterward, the subjects were presented with either pictures of people or stories about them, and asked to evaluate them. Consistently, the subjects who had been primed to be mistrustful were less likely to impose stereotypic characteristics onto the people they were exposed to than those who had been primed to feel trusting. They were less likely, for example, to automatically see women as less logical and less technically skilled than men, and less likely to see Turks as “noisy” and “vengeful.” Posten argues that distrust sharpens people’s thinking. As she puts it, “people in a distrustful mindset seem to use nonroutine information-processing strategies.” Trusting people essentially means assuming they are what they seem to be, which, if we don’t actually know the person, can lead us to rely on stereotypes. It’s a form of complacency. Not trusting someone means we’re not sure if a person is what they seem to be or not, and that makes us pay close attention to the actual information we have rather than vague generalities. Posten and Mussweiler’s findings fit with a broader set of results that show both the limits and the underside of human attributes like benevolence and trust. The Dutch psychologist Carsten K.W. De Dreu has found that oxytocin, the so-called “love hormone” that drives mothers to bond with their newborns and may play a role in romantic love, also has the effect of making people more ethnocentric. People given doses of oxytocin, he found, tended to discount the value of the lives of those of different ethnicities. The impressive human capacity for connection and cohesion, in other words, is difficult to disentangle from the tendency to create an out-group against which to unite. Apparently, the only way that a multi-ethnic/multi-racial society can work is if no one trusts each other.

Why gays should not be allowed to become priests: A priest charged with taking a 10-year-old boy to West Virginia for sex more than two decades ago has been found guilty
Jurors in federal court in Cincinnati found Robert Poandl, 72, guilty of one count of transporting a minor in interstate commerce with the intent of engaging him in sex, a charge that carries a possible sentence of 10 years in prison. Poandl, from the Glenmary Home Missioners in suburban Cincinnati, took the boy to Spencer, West Virgina, on August 3, 1991, and raped him while visiting a church there, prosecutors said. The accuser, now 32, did not tell law-enforcement officials in West Virginia that he’d been abused until 2009. Poandl was indicted there on charges of sexually abusing the boy, but a judge dismissed the case in 2010. Prosecutors told jurors that the priest had told the boy’s parents he needed someone to ride with him to keep him awake and navigate, but then raped the boy after they arrived at the West Virginia church. Assistant U.S. Attorney Tim Oakley said that the priest then told the boy that they had sinned and needed to pray for forgiveness. The federal trial began after U.S. District Judge Michael Barrett had earlier rejected a defense motion to dismiss the case over a statute of limitations. The judge ruled that the prosecution clearly alleged an offense involving sexual abuse of a child, and federal law permits prosecution of child sexual abuse at any time during the life of the accuser. A sentencing date hasn’t been set for the priest, who will remain at Glenmary until sentencing. The judge ordered him to be monitored electronically and said that he may not leave except for medical appointments and meetings with his attorney. The priest isn’t allowed contact with children, Assistant U.S. Attorney Christy Muncy said.
Why gays should not be allowed to become priests: South African authorities have released a German Catholic priest, wanted for child abuse by Germany, on bail but will put him on trial in November 2013 for committing similar acts in South Africa
The priest, whose identity was not given but who was said to be in his fifties and from Aachen in western Germany, was arrested on September 13, 2013 as he left a court in the northern town of Brits where he was standing trial for assault and acts of indecency. The arrest was based on an international warrant and a German extradition request issued several years ago. Bail was set at 5,000 rands ($505) and his release was conditional on staying in Kwazulu-Natal province where he is being hosted by the Ishowe diocese. The South African trial will open on November 8, 2013. The acts of indecency were committed in 2008 on four boys then aged nine and 10, some of German origin, who attended a German-language Catholic youth camp near Johannesburg. They had complained about offers to sleep in the priest's bed and inappropriate fondling. After November's hearing the priest could be extradited to Germany.
Why gays should not be allowed to become priests: A Catholic priest in Pennsylvania has been charged with molesting a teenage boy after he was found in a car on a college campus with a 15-year-old who was wearing no pants
The Rev. W. Jeffrey Paulish has been charged with one felony count of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and one felony count of unlawful contact with a minor after Dunmore police found him and the boy in a car on the Worthington Scranton campus of Penn State University. Paulish, 56, of Scranton, was also charged with three misdemeanor counts - indecent contact with a person under 16, indecent exposure and corruption of a minor. He is being held at the Lackawanna County jail on $50,000 bail. Dunmore police officers discovered Paulish and the boy after responding to a call of a suspicious vehicle. Paulish told police that he was at the campus working on his homily when he met the teen, who he said was in emotional distress, and began counseling him. He later admitted to police that he had arranged the meeting with the teen through the "casual encounters" section of Craigslist. Paulish told investigators that he had asked the boy three times if he was over the age of 18. Paulish has been removed from his post at the Prince of Peace parish and has been suspended from acting in the capacity of a priest.
Scientists believe that the “ginger gene,” or “V6OL allele,” showed up 50,000 years ago after humans left Africa for colder climates
This gene made human skin lighter, as they were exposed to less vitamin D from the sun. Scientists made this discovery having studied the gene evolution of 1,000 people from Spain. Ten percent of Irish people have red hair. In total there are 20 million people in Britain and Ireland with the gene that can cause red hair and it remains a dominant gene in southern Europeans today. However, this paler skin also brought health risks, such as melanoma, the deadliest form of cancer, but this is not necessarily due to the redhead gene itself. As a consequence of depigmentation there has been a collateral damage consequence to health. This can be reconciled if we assume that melanoma is typically a post-reproductive disease, and consequently should have little effect on the individual’s genetic contribution to the next generation.
A 29-year-old black man moved into a vacant $6 million mansion and claimed rightful ownership as a Moorish American National
Lamont Butler argued — literally so, because he defended himself in court — that all of the United States really belongs to him and his Moor peers because the continent is still part of a Moroccan empire and thus our modern leases are meaningless. Unfortunately for him and his girlfriend, the jury didn't agree and convicted both on charges including burglary and identity fraud. "It seemed like they were making up their own laws,” said one juror.
A drunk Pakistani pilot was arrested in the cockpit of his plane, just before he was scheduled to fly out of a British airport
Irfan Faiz, a 54-year-old pilot with Pakistan International Airlines, was four-and-a-half times over the legal blood-alcohol limit to fly when he was grounded and taken into custody at Leeds Bradford Airport. Police boarded the Airbus 310 Faiz was set to fly to Islamabad as he was carrying out pre-flight checks, and asked him to take a breath test. Faiz has since pleaded guilty to being drunk, and will appear again in court in October 2013.

Schizophrenia is considerably more common among people of African ancestry
In the United States, about 3 times more common. African immigrants to Europe and Britain are much more vulnerable to schizophrenia. In Britain, blacks (from the Caribbean) have a seven to ten-fold increased risk. Interestingly, this actually seems to get worse in the second generation.
Report: Los Angeles County officials say that illegal-aliens parents residing in the county with their children will likely receive approximately $650 million of taxpayer-subsidized welfare benefits in 2013
The report states that $376 million has been handed out through July 2013. Of the $376 million, $54 million was in welfare benefits, $20 million in CalWORKs the state's program that provides cash and services to needy families, and $34 million in food stamps. "When you add the $550 million for public safety and nearly $500 million for healthcare, the total cost for illegal immigrants to county taxpayers exceeds $1.6 billion dollars a year," County Supervisor Michael Antonovich said. "These costs do not even include the hundreds of millions of dollars spent annually for education." It's estimated that 60,000 illegal-alien parents of 100,000 children live in Los Angeles County. Is taking welfare benefits one of those "jobs" that Americans just won't do?
Why has the Jewish-controlled media stopped talking about Aaron Alexis, the black Navy Yard shooter?
Had the story been about a white Tea Party member as everyone in the Jewish-controlled media was hoping, we’d still be bombarded with coverage of the story. Black guy? Liberal? Mentally ill? The story no longer served any purpose for the left’s agenda so it was dropped.
British contestants have been warned of violent threats from Islamic extremists during this year’s Miss World contest in Indonesia
The British, US and Australian Embassies in Jakarta have warned the contestants that Islamic extremist groups may be planning to use violence to disrupt the pageant, which is running until September 28, 2013. The competition was moved from the capital on Java where the majority of residents are Muslim to Bali. With a history of Islamic terror attacks on foreign visitors - including the horrific 2002 Bali bombings when 202 people were killed - the warnings are being taken seriously by the Miss World organizers.

Two studies primed Jews and non-Jews to think about Israel or a different location, and measured the accessibility and relevance of moral foundation categories
The studies found that when asked to think about explicit moral violations committed by military guards, Jewish-Americans expressed less concern for the interrogated victim, less anger at the interrogating soldier, and more support for the soldier’s actions when the military guards were Israeli, compared to a different location.
Black-run Detroit lost 61% of its residents between 1950 and 2010, and the total value of its property fell from a peak of $45 billion to $9.6 billion in 2012
Today, black-run Detroit has more pensioners than employees, and a debt that is more than twice what it had in 1960. It spends considerably more on police and fire retirees than active workers. And despite the fact that the city has the highest income and property taxes in Michigan — by a wide margin — the state’s inflation-adjusted revenue is lower than it was in 1960.

Obama's America: Years after the Great Recession ended, 46.5 million Americans are still living in poverty, according to a Census Bureau report
Income has tumbled since the recession hit, and is still 8.3% below where it was in 2007. "We've had [economic] growth, but it hasn't really reached everyday Americans," said Elise Gould, an economist at the left-leaning Economic Policy Institute. "It's a lost decade, maybe more."
This long-term decline in income is troubling to economists, especially as the middle and lower classes have fared considerably worse than the rich. Since 1967, Americans right in the middle of the income curve have seen their earnings rise 19%, while those in the top 5% have seen a 67% gain. Rising inequality is seldom a sign of good social stability. Asians had the highest household income ($68,600), followed by whites ($57,000), Hispanics ($39,000) and blacks ($33,300). The recession also pushed many more people into poverty. In 2010, the poverty rate peaked at 15.1%, and has barely fallen since then. This is the first time the poverty rate has remained at or above 15% three years running since 1965.

A black man is wanted on an attempted murder charge for shooting a 17 year old in the head
Police have issued a warrant for Daniel Robert Lott, 32. "I would caution people not to approach him if you see him," Police Chief Mike Tupper said. "He's charged with a violent felony." Mario G. Murrillo, 17, sought treatment for a gunshot wound at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center. Also injured was Dedrick M. Fisher, 19, an acquaintance of Murrillo's who was with him. Fisher was treated for injuries suffered in a physical fight. Tupper described Lott as "well known" to the police department. Online court records show that Lott has previously been charged with burglary, theft, domestic abuse, criminal mischief and several traffic-related violations. Attempted murder, a Class B felony, is punishable up to 25 years in prison.

Compared to Americans of European-ancestry, African-Americans' increased hypertension prevalence contributes to a greater risk of stroke, coronary heart disease and end-stage renal disease
In addition to their disproportionate suffering, hypertension occurs earlier in life for African-Americans compared to individuals of other ancestries.
For blood cancer patients battling to live, mixed ethnicity can be dangerous, complicating the crucial search to find a lifesaving bone marrow match
It's a growing problem within the melting pot of New York, where desperate families are fighting back for their loved ones by enlisting anyone and everyone to enroll in bone marrow registries. Take little Leni Hsiao, a 4-month-old girl who has endured incredible challenges since her birth. The Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, baby has megakaryoblastic leukemia, a rare form of bone marrow cancer. As a result, Leni has endured spinal taps, biopsies, 28 days of chemotherapy and septic shock. Right now, she's on a ventilator at New York Presbyterian Hospital, sedated while her lungs repair themselves. "It's just when you think she can't fight anymore that she comes out even stronger," her mom, Amanda Hsiao, said. "She's just 4 months old, and she's my inspiration every day." Leni desperately needs compatible bone marrow. It's possible that her big sister, Mae, 2, can be a donor. The siblings have a 25% chance of matching up since they have the same parents. But if that doesn't work, the Hsiaos will have to turn to the national bone marrow registry, where the chances of finding a match are slim because Amanda's family is of Ashkenazi Jewish descent and her husband Jerry Hsiao's family is from Taiwan. Within the national registry, only 4% of the millions of donors self-identify as mixed-race. Finding a donor is much more difficult for minorities overall, in fact. When whites search through the 10.5 million donors on the registry, they have a 93% chance of finding a good match. Asian or Pacific Islanders have a 73% chance of finding a match. Black patients, whose genetic diversity has increased since they’ve mixed with whites, Native Americans, and Latinos, have only a 66% chance of being matched.
A Hispanic Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agent has been arrested for conspiring to smuggle illegal aliens into the United States
Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officers arrested David Alexander Díaz-Torres in Orlando, Florida, according to the Justice Department. Díaz-Torres and five others were charged in a 13-count indictment for bringing, transporting, harboring, and shielding illegal aliens within the United States. According to a Justice Department press release, a group of Brazilian nationals were smuggled through the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Díaz-Torres allowed the Brazilians through a TSA security checkpoint without questioning them. The group then flew to New York, Boston, and Philadelphia on commercial flights.
Women and abortion in India
The New Delhi rape case left the whole world wondering why India is treating its women so badly. In fact, discrimination against women already starts in the womb: India has some of the most distorted sex-ratios in the world. There are regions where fewer than 800 girls are born for every 1,000 boys. For many reasons Indian culture prefers sons. An expensive bride-price, or dowry, is only one of them. So day-by-day, thousands of parents circumvent rarely enforced laws and have their baby daughters aborted after an ultrasound scan has revealed the sex of the fetus. It is estimated that India has been losing up to 12 million baby girls over the last three decades.
A new report says that 2.4 billion people will inhabit Africa by 2050 and that growth will triple in some African nations
Africa’s population is predicted to more than double to 2.4 billion people by 2050 according to a new study that also raises questions about whether efforts to lift the continent out of poverty may be in vain. The 10 countries with the world’s highest fertility rates are all in sub-Saharan Africa, where mothers have an average of 5.2 children, according to a report from the Washington DC-based Population Reference Bureau. In Niger, which has the world's fastest population growth rate, women give birth to an average of 7.6 children, four times the US figure of 1.9. “Rapid population growth makes it difficult for economies to create enough jobs to lift large numbers of people out of poverty,” said Wendy Baldwin, the organization's president. Seven of the 10 countries with the highest fertility rates also appear among the bottom 10 on the United Nations’ Human Development Index. By 2050, many African states will likely more than double in population. Kenya will rise from 44 million to 97 million people, and Nigeria from 174 million to 440 million. Some nations will nearly triple their growth, the reports finds. Somalia will have 27 million people in 2050, up from an estimated 10 million today; the Democratic Republic of Congo’s 71 million population is predicted to rise to 182 million. The total number of people on the continent is predicted to rise from 1.1 billion to 2.4 billion. The report gave 20 different indicators for more than 200 countries. It found that US mothers give birth to an average of 1.9 children. Bosnia-Herzegovina has the world’s lowest birth rate of 1.2 children. The world’s population is forecast to increase from roughly 7.1 billion today to more than 9.7 billion in 2050, the report calculated. India, currently the second most populous country in the world, will overtake China to become the most populous by 2030, it was estimated. By 2050, India’s population will be 1.6 billion and China’s 1.3 billion. The US population was estimated to rise from 316 million to 400 million over the same period.

A Hispanic couple have been charged in the starvation death of their 3-year-old daughter, who weighed only 11 pounds
Carlos Rivera, 30, and Carmen Ramirez, 27, brought their unresponsive daughter, Nathlayz Rivera, to Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, where the child was pronounced dead, according to Officer Jillian Russell. Rivera and Ramirez have been arraigned on charges of third-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter, and conspiracy and endangering the welfare of a child, according to Philadelphia District Attorney's Office spokeswoman Tasha Jamerson. Both parents are being held without bail, and their next court date is scheduled for September 25, 2013 Jamerson said. Four other children - ages 9, 8, 7 and Nathlayz's 3-year-old twin - lived at the couple's residence. The children were taken to a local hospital where they were examined and then transported to the Philadelphia Department of Human Services, Russell said. The mother told detectives that Nathlayz had Down syndrome, police said.
Australia's most senior orthodox rabbi, Moshe Gutnick, has formally apologised for child sexual abuse within the Jewish community
In a written apology on the eve of Yom Kippur, he said that the issue has been handled inappropriately with a culture of covering up abuse. Rabbi Gutnick asked victims of abuse for forgiveness and urged them to come forward to ensure police can prosecute the perpetrators. "We need to empower ourselves and victims to help to bring this scourge to an end," he said.
FBI: A black security screener at Los Angeles International Airport has been taken into custody after quitting his job and making threats that led officials to clear and search terminals at the airport
Nna Alpha Onuoha, 29, has been arrested and remains in custody on suspicion of making threats pending additional investigation. Authorities have searched Onuoha's minivan as part of the investigation, according to FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller. Police found several threatening notes in Onuoha's apartment including one which alluded to the 12th anniversary of 9/11.
Men who have smaller testes are more likely be better dads to their toddlers
Researchers found that fathers who had smaller testes showed increased nurturing-related brain activity in the ventral tegmental area (VTA) - an area of the brain linked to reward and parental motivation - when viewing photos of their own children. The results suggest that the biology of human males reflects a trade-off between mating effort and parenting effort, as indexed by testicular size and nurturing-related brain function, respectively.
A police officer in eastern India was raped by a group of bandits who stopped her family's vehicle as they escorted her sister's body to be cremated
The officer, a 27-year-old widow and mother of two daughters, was raped despite pleas from her father and brother after the gang of ax-wielding men were infuriated by the family's lack of valuables.
The National Security Agency routinely shares raw intelligence data with Israel without first sifting it to remove information about US citizens
Details of the intelligence-sharing agreement are laid out in a memorandum of understanding between the NSA and its Israeli counterpart that shows the US government handed over intercepted communications likely to contain phone calls and emails of American citizens. The agreement places no legally binding limits on the use of the data by the Israelis. The disclosure that the NSA agreed to provide raw intelligence data to a foreign country contrasts with assurances from the Obama administration that there are rigorous safeguards to protect the privacy of US citizens caught in the dragnet. The intelligence community calls this process "minimization", but the memorandum makes clear that the information shared with the Israelis would be in its pre-minimized state. The deal was reached in principle in March 2009, according to the undated memorandum.
Almost a quarter of men in parts of Asia admit to raping a woman, a report by the United Nations has revealed
The alarming results show that while the majority of sexual assaults took place within a relationship, one in ten men confessed to forcing a woman to have sex outside of marriage. The figures came after 10,000 men in Bangladesh, China, Cambodia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Papua New Guinea were interviewed. Of the men who admitted rape, just under half had done so more than once.
Report: Half of all U.S.-born white children younger than 17 lived in families with married parents, both of whom worked in 2008 to 2010, as did 33% of all U.S.-born Hispanic and 53% of U.S.-born Asian children
The report found the biggest discrepancy for U.S.-born African American children. Twenty-four percent lived in families with married, dual-income parents — about half the percentage of children of other racial and ethnic groups. Thirty-seven percent lived in families headed by never-married or previously married single mothers, in contrast to 10% of US.-born white children, 16% of U.S.-born Hispanic children and 5% of U.S.-born Asian children. And 15% of U.S.-born African American children, higher than any other racial or ethnic group, lived with grandparents.

CNN: With low public support for US airstrikes on Syria, Obama's approval rating on foreign policy has also been sinking, and has now hit an all-time low
Only four in 10 approve of the job Obama is doing on foreign policy. Obama's approval rating on foreign affairs has continued its steady decline — from 54% in January 2013 to 49% in April, 44% in June, and just 40% now. This may be a troubling sign for Obama who in past polls had always scored his highest ratings for his handling of foreign affairs.
Israelis by 7-1 do not want Israel to go to war with Syria, but two-thirds of Israelis favor the United States going to war with Syria
Will Congress obey Israel or the American people?
In New York City in 2009, 76% of Hispanic births were covered by Medicaid, 70% of births in the black community were covered, and 31% of whites
According to researchers from the George Washington University (GWU) School of Public Health, in 2010, almost half of all births in the United States were paid for by Medicaid, and that rate is only going to go up. Medicaid was responsible for 48% of the 3.8 million births in 2010, an increase of 90,000 births from 2008, which was an 8% increase during that period.

In August 2013, foreign-born employment rose by 223,000. From January 2009 to August 2013, foreign-born employment increased by 2.13 million, or by 9.8%. During that same period, U.S.-born employment declined by 181,000.
Researchers find no indication of Khazar genetic ancestry among Ashkenazi Jews
Employing a variety of standard techniques for the analysis of population structure, scientists found that Ashkenazi Jewish samples share the greatest genetic ancestry with other Jewish populations, and among non-Jewish populations, with groups from Mediterranean Europe and the Middle East, and that they have no particular signal of genetic sharing with populations from the Caucasus. Thus, analysis of the most comprehensive set of Jewish and other Middle Eastern and European populations together with a large sample from the region of the Khazar kingdom does not support the hypothesis of a significant contribution of the elusive Khazars into the gene pool of the Ashkenazi Jews.

A 13-year-old boy has been charged with the shocking rape of an 8-year-old girl in a New York Public Library branch in Harlem, after the victim told her mother that she was lured into a bathroom and attacked
The suspect, whose name is being withheld because he is a minor, was charged with second-degree rape and unlawful imprisonment after being questioned at the 32nd Precinct station house. The boy was caught on security cameras at Countee Cullen Library on W. 136th Street near Lenox Avenue leading the girl into a bathroom. The gruesome attack occurred shortly after the young victim arrived at the library with her 8-year-old brother and her 54-year-old female babysitter. The girl apparently wandered away from her brother and babysitter as they were perusing books. She went up to the second-floor mezzanine where she encountered the suspect, whom she recognized from previous trips to the library. “He verbally lures her into the bathroom,” a law enforcement source said. “Once they’re inside the bathroom, he locked the door so she couldn’t get out.” During the sickening 20-minute assault, the pubescent perpetrator, described by sources as a troubled foster child who’s been bounced from home to home, asked the girl for a kiss then forced her to perform oral sex on him before he raped and sodomized her. The boy immediately fled the library following the assault. The girl didn’t tell her mother of the rape until later. The mother sensed something was amiss with her daughter and questioned the girl until she told her the sickening details of what happened. The devastated parents immediately took the girl to the 32nd Precinct station house to report the rape. Police identified the suspect by scouring security video with the library branch manager, who recognized the youth. Police took the youngster into custody when the branch manager called to tell them that the boy showed up at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture around the corner from the library. They found him in a bathroom at the center. The boy is expected to appear in Manhattan Family Court. A neighbor at the Harlem building where the young suspect lived with his father until a few months ago described the boy as a “knucklehead.” “His father never really left the apartment, so the kid was always out on his own. He would just come and go whenever he wanted,” the neighbor said.
New York City: A black man went on a rampage in Union Square and left a complete stranger brain-dead in the process
Police said that the attack may have been a hate crime. Friends of Jeffrey Babbitt, 62, were shocked to hear about the random act of violence that left the gentle, retired train conductor in a coma. “I don’t believe that. I don’t know why that happened. He is very nice,” Igor Sapozhnikov said. Babbitt was minding his own business as he walked through the crowd near the chess boards in Union Square when a black man made a hateful announcement and began his rampage, witnesses said. “He said ‘the next white person who walks by I’m going to [expletive],’” one woman said. “His fist went in and the man’s head bobbed and he hit the ground and you could hear his skull hitting the ground.” The black man continued his rampage before demanding to see police officers. “He stood there and hit two more people and asked for the police to come,” Michael Benson said. Stunned witnesses counted a total of three people attacked. The black suspect, Lashawn Marten, 31, remained at the scene until police arrived. Babbitt was on the ground with blood flowing from his head. Nearby were two other victims icing their faces. Because of Marten’s comments about targeting white people the incident could result in hate crime charges in addition to felony assault charges, according to Police Commissioner Ray Kelly. “Obviously our Hate Crimes Task Force is involved in aspects of that case,” Kelly said. Witnesses said that they were amazed at the brazen, public nature of the assault. “This is such a crowded area. You’d expect it in a back alley, but there are so many people here. That’s the strange part,” Garrett Browning said. Babbitt was taken to Bellevue Hospital. Family and friends said that he is in a coma and has been declared brain-dead. His 92-year-old mother, Hedda, was by his side. She shared a Sheepshead Bay apartment with her son. He was her primary caregiver.
Why is it acceptable to be anti-Christian but not anti-Muslim?
Richard Dawkins is in trouble for saying negative things about Islam even though he has said even harsher stuff about Christianity and never experienced such a backlash.

The Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations has joined the Israeli lobby AIPAC in an all-out public campaign for a U.S. war on Syria
Marvin Hier of the Simon Wiesenthal Center and Abe Foxman of the Anti-Defamation League have invoked the Holocaust, with Hier charging that the United States and Britain failed to rescue the Jews in 1942. The Republican Jewish Coalition, too, bankrolled by Sheldon Adelson, the Jewish casino mogul, is also backing Obama's war. Adelson, who shelled out $70 million to bring down Obama, wants his pay-off — war on Syria. And he is getting it. Speaker John Boehner and Majority Leader Eric Cantor have saluted and enlisted. Sheldon, fattest of all fat cats, is buying himself a war. Yet, is it really wise for Jewish organizations to put a Jewish stamp on a campaign to drag the United States into another war that a majority of gentile Americans do not want to fight? Does the Jewish community in the United States really want to be responsible for starting a war that ends with two million Christian Syrians facing possible extermination? About 67% of Israeli Jews support a U.S. attack on Syria, while 17% oppose an attack, according to a new Israel Hayom survey.
Average brain size is not the same in all human populations
Average cranial capacity in Europeans is about 1362; 1380 in Asians, 1276 in Africans. It’s about 1270 in New Guinea. Generally there is a trend with latitude – brain volume is lowest near the equator.
A woman whose memoir about life under Taliban rule was turned into a Bollywood movie has been shot dead by suspected members of the Islamist militia
The killing of Sushmita Banerjee in eastern Afghanistan was the latest in a string of attacks on prominent women in Afghanistan. Islamic militants dragged her from her home and shot her at least 15 times. Banerjee — who was from Kolkata, India — wrote A Kabuliwala's Bengali Wife. Published in 1997, it later became the basis for the 2003 film Escape from Taliban. The book described how she met her husband in India and moved to Afghanistan as his second wife, only to find that life would become unbearable under the Taliban's oppressive rule, especially in regard to women. In an interview, Banerjee described trying to flee Afghanistan multiple times to get away from the Taliban and how she was ordered executed as a result of her attempts. She made it back to India in August of 1995 and had since returned to Afghanistan.

The Jews who control the GOP want the United States to go to war with Syria
The debate over whether to bomb Syrian military facilities and weapons installations is creating some interesting bedfellows such as Barack Obama and Jewish casino mogul Sheldon Adelson. The Republican Jewish Coalition, which counts Adelson as a donor and a board member, has told its members to urge Congress to authorize a strike in Syria. A spokesman for Adelson, a top backer of pro-Israel causes, said that the gambling mogul supported the coalition's position — and thus Obama's — on Syria. Obama and Adelson are far from ideological allies. Adelson reportedly spent upwards of $150 million, in disclosed and dark money, to defeat Obama in 2012's presidential election. He and his wife, Miriam, almost single-handedly kept Republican presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich in the running during the GOP primary season, giving $20.5 million to the pro-Gingrich super-PAC, Winning Our Future. Once Romney won the party's nomination, Adelson and his wife poured $30 million more into Restore Our Future, the pro-Romney super-PAC. On election night, Adelson attended the Romney campaign's party at the Westin hotel in Boston. During the campaign, Adelson questioned Obama's commitment to protecting Israel. "Time and again, President Obama has signaled a lack of sympathy — or even outright hostility — toward Israel," Adelson wrote in an op-ed for JNS News Service. These days, Adelson seems to be feeling better about Obama's foreign policy stance - at least when it comes to attacking Syria.
The president and rabbi of the Milwaukee Synagogue for Russian Jews is embroiled in a family dispute now playing out in state and federal courts
Chaya Milchtein went to the Milwaukee County Courthouse to ask for protection from a father many view as a role model. "He has a congregation. He has a synagogue. He has the respect and love of everybody. They don't know," Milchtein said. Milchtein spent two years in foster care. In 2012, the District Attorney's Office charged Rabbi Alexander Milchtein with child abuse. A jury acquitted him in June 2013. His daughter is now 18, lives on her own and said that she fears her father wants revenge. "My father has said to me the police can't get him. The police can't hurt him. He's above the police," Chaya Milchtein said. Alexander Milchtein's congregation is strictly Orthodox Jewish. In court records, the rabbi calls his daughter "obsessed with sex and rebelled against his discipline by claiming abuse." Chaya Milchtein said that she's a lesbian and gay activist but believes this is more about control than a culture clash. "I think this has more to do with my father than anything I could ever do," Milchtein said.
One woman dies every hour in India because of dowry-related crimes, indicating that the country's economic boom has made demands for dowries even more persistent, women's rights activists have said
The National Crime Records Bureau says that 8,233 women were killed across India in 2012 because of disputes over dowry payments given by the bride's family to the groom or his family at the time of marriage. The conviction rate in dowry-related crimes remained a low 32%. Dowry demands often continue for years after the wedding. Each year, thousands of young Indian women are doused with gasoline and burned to death because the groom or his family felt that the dowry was inadequate. Indian law prohibits the giving or receiving of a dowry, but the centuries-old social custom persists. Women's rights activists and police said that loopholes in dowry prevention laws, delays in prosecution and low conviction rates have led to a steady rise in dowry-related crimes.
Two black tourists from Britain could be trapped in China for a year after what began as an argument with a shopkeeper ended with their arrest for disturbing the peace
Mary Idowu, 59, and Esther Jubril-Badmos, 48, both from London, have not been charged with any crime but have been told that they cannot leave the country until Chinese investigators finish looking into their case. The two women flew to the southern city of Guangzhou on June 16, 2013 for a week-long shopping trip. Jubril-Badmos had visited several times before, buying cheap Chinese goods to sell on her market stand or from her home. For Idowu it was an exciting chance, she said, to see this big country which she had always heard about for the first time. Visiting a local market, Jubril-Badmos found some black slippers she liked and ordered 20 pairs. She left a deposit of £50 and agreed that she might also take 15 pairs of fake Gucci slippers when she returned later to collect. When they went back three days later, Jubril-Badmos had decided against the fake slippers, but the shop insisted she take everything or lose her deposit. After they argued with the shopkeeper, Jubril-Badmos said that she was assaulted. "This man slapped me hard across the face," she said. "I was seeing stars for two to three minutes." She claims that she was then dragged out of the store by her hair and beaten so badly in the street that Idowu frantically called the police. At the police station, however, the situation unraveled further. After 32 hours of interrogation, the two women were sent to a local detention center where Idowu was held, sleeping on a bare floor in a 12-person cell, for the next six weeks. Jubril-Badmos was sent to a local hospital for three weeks, meanwhile, after she collapsed in the detention center. "The worst thing was the police trying to intimidate me to get me to sign forms in Chinese. I did not know what I was signing," said Idowu. "In detention, they gave me tablets for my blood pressure. I did not know what they were but they kept increasing until I was taking 16 tablets a day," she said. Idowu's two daughters arrived in China and helped to arrange their release on bail. A policeman that they named as Chen advised them that prosecutors had not found any evidence. "He said it was now a civil case, that the shop wanted to sue, and that we had to go and settle it out of court," said Idowu's daughter Laura, a 20-year-old law student. They were told that they had to pay nearly £22,000, including £3,500 for a broken jade bracelet and £15,000 for a diamond ring that had been lost in the fracas. In the end, the shop accepted £4,500 in settlement. However, the police later denied that settlement would help to cancel their bail and said that they remained under investigation. Under Chinese law this can continue for up to a year before they have to be charged.

Six "British" soldiers have been arrested in New York, for beating and robbing an off-duty NYPD cop in a bar
According to court reports, three of four of the men, who are all rugby players with the Royal Regiment of Scotland, started beating on the rookie cop when he began talking to a woman who was with the soldiers. The soldiers, who are all originally from Fiji, claim that the fight started after he called one of them "black b******". One of the soldiers grabbed the man's phone and a chain from around his neck when he tried to call 911. The brawl reportedly moved out into the street, leaving blood splattered along the block, until the cop pulled out a knife and slashed one of the soldiers. When the victim identified himself as a policeman, the soldiers responded, "We don't care. F*** the police." Five of the soldiers are facing third degree assault charges; a sixth, who was found with the cop's phone, is also accused of second degree robbery. The men failed to post bail, and are being held at Rikers Island. The motto of their regiment is: "No one provokes me with impunity." This should serve as a lesson to the British - and any other white nation - to stop recruiting Third World types into their military. Let us hope that these Third World scumbags do some hard time in an American prison.
Israel is upset that the United States is unwilling to fight Syria and Iran
The Israelis seem to be afraid that they will have to die to fight their enemies instead of American gentiles:
When Barack Obama visited Israel in March 2013, he made a speech in Jerusalem – virtuosic in parts and cloying in others – meant to endear him to an Israeli public which felt it neither knew nor trusted him much. Atem lo levad (“You are not alone”), Obama intoned in Hebrew, channeling the same spirit of solidarity that John F. Kennedy invoked when he declared “Ich bin ein Berliner” in blockaded West Berlin in 1963. Israelis are now recalling Obama’s speech ruefully after his decision to refer any military action against Syria to Congress. Asked afterwards about how the decision made them feel, many offered up this word: “alone”. Their worry is not that Israel is being left alone to cope with Syria, whose war Israel’s government and most of its people want no direct part in. The fear – and it is a big one – is about the message America’s perceived wavering on Syria sends to its bigger and much more powerful ally: Iran. Benjamin Netanyahu, who has made containing the Islamic republic’s nuclear program the defining issue of his premiership, has said repeatedly in recent days that Syria is a “testing ground” for Iran. Any lack of American resolve over disciplining Bashar al-Assad’s government for crossing “red lines” on chemical weapons use, Israelis feel, sets a bad precedent for efforts to stop Iran from developing a nuclear bomb. Israel was already worried western resolve to contain Iran’s nuclear ambitions was ebbing after the election of relative moderate Hassan Rouhani as president. Netanyahu, mindful of Israel’s delicate position in a region where Assad or Hizbollah might respond to an American strike by attacking it, has told his ministers not to talk to the media about Syria. However, Naftali Bennett, economy minister and head of the far-right Jewish Home party, gave one insight into official thinking when he wrote on Facebook: “The international stuttering and hesitancy on Syria just proves once more that Israel cannot count on anyone but itself.” Commentators in Israel put it in earthier terms when they chided Obama by quoting a line from Sergio Leone’s spaghetti Western, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly: “When you have to shoot, shoot – don’t talk”. “You hear more and more people in government saying, ‘Can we really rely on the US to stop Iran?” said Mike Herzog, a retired Israeli general and international fellow with The Washington Institute for Middle East Policy. “If they can’t take a decision on a red line in Syria, why should we think they could do so on Iran?” American resolve in Syria, Israelis say, has proved weak on a chemical weapons red line that according to the British intelligence dossier was crossed at least 14 times before the attack outside Damascus that prompted a hesitant American call to arms. Whereas gruesome news pictures of gasping victims provided apparent visual evidence that chemical weapons had been used, the trigger for action in Iran is more fungible and open to interpretation, and Israel and the United States define it differently. The United States has said that it would not accept a nuclear Iran, but Israel thinks this is too fuzzy. Netanyahu, speaking at the UN in September 2012, said that Iran must be stopped before it had amassed enough 20%-enriched uranium for a single bomb. Israel says that Iran has not reached this but is taking broader actions such as building centrifuges that would make it easier to cross the nuclear threshold quickly. “Red lines don’t lead to war; red lines prevent war,” Netanyahu said in his UN speech, in which he brandished a cartoon of a sputtering bomb. “I believe that faced with a clear red line, Iran will back down.” Israelis are now more doubtful on that point, with many saying that American prevarication on Syria has weakened the red line’s deterrence. Some worry that it is now more likely that Iran will cross it and if forced to act, Israel may need to go it alone. “Will the US back its own red lines and do something about Iran?” asked Yoel Guzansky, a researcher for the Institute for National Security Studies. “The answer after Obama’s speech is no – we are alone. That’s a very basic feeling – this is what people here think.”I guess that the Israelis are afraid that Americans are no longer willing to die for them.

More than 20 million people in Britain and Ireland have the genes that can cause red hair
The most red-headed part of Britain and Ireland is the South-East of Scotland with Edinburgh as a red-hotspot where 40% carry one of the three common red hair gene variants. Just over 34% of the population of parts of the north of England are carriers, making Yorkshire and Humberside as red-headed as Ireland. There are 3 different variants of the MC1R gene, which causes red hair. Those with 151-Cysteine-red have a 70,000 year old variant that probably arose in West Asia; those with 160-Tryptophan-red are descendants of someone who probably also lived in West Asia 70,000 years ago; and 294-Histidine-reds belong to a much younger group who come from a European who lived about 30,000 years ago. Approximately 6% of Scots have red hair, or about 300,000 people. Of the English, about 4% - around 2.1 million people - are red heads.
