In August 2013, U.S.-born employment fell by 338,000

In August 2013, foreign-born employment rose by 223,000. From January 2009 to August 2013, foreign-born employment increased by 2.13 million, or by 9.8%. During that same period, U.S.-born employment declined by 181,000.
