A black man has been charged with murder for the death of a man found in the closet of an Oakland neighborhood residence

Bednago Harper, 48, has been charged with one count of first-degree murder, police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien said. Police found Jermaine Reynolds, 39, dead, News Affairs Officer Antoinette Ursitti said. He was found in a closet, covered with clothes, police said. Reynolds suffered multiple sharp force injuries and his death was ruled a homicide, according to results of an autopsy conducted by the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
