A Hispanic accused of raping and killing his 1-month-old baby should not have been in the United States in the first place

Juan Galindo, 33, was sent back to Mexico in July 2011 after serving time in jail on drug charges, a spokeswoman for the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center said. Galindo goes by several names, including Oscar Valladez. Police say that he raped and brutalized his baby girl. Deputies say that the baby had several injuries including black eyes, a damaged liver and injured genitals. Deputies say that it appears the infant also had injuries that may have happened before her death. Galindo has been charged with aggravated criminal sexual penetration and child abuse resulting in death.
