Hispanics living in the United States who are diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) have a lower risk for overall mortality than other ethnic groups, despite having poorer access to care, a retrospective analysis found
Among patients with NSCLC, survival was significantly greater among Hispanics than among whites, according to Brian E. Lally, MD, and colleagues from the University of Miami in Florida. And blacks had significantly worse survival than whites.
