It takes longer, on average, for black workers for find a job, and even having a college degree doesn't help as much as it does for other job-seeking populations

The black unemployment rate is currently 13.8% unemployment rate, far higher than the 7.9% national rate. While blacks make up 12% of the labor force they make up 25% of workers unemployed for more than 99 weeks.
