A black female pastor was caught breaking into the home of one of her parishioners on Christmas Eve

A black female pastor in Texas was caught breaking into a parishioner's home and hauling away thousands of dollars worth of luxury goods and electronics. Sandy McGriff, a pastor at the Church of the Living God in Dallas, was arrested after police caught her loading her black Jaguar with $10,000 worth of fur coats, purses and laptop equipment from Serita Agnew's home on Christmas Eve. Agnew, who was not at home, told police that McGriff called her before the break-in, and a short time later, a neighbor spotted the 52-year-old preacher break a window at Agnew's house and climb in using a 5-gallon bucket as a boost. Police arrived at the house with guns drawn and arrested McGriff, who resisted arrest and gave them a phony name, Kathy Robinson. Cops said she wasn't sober. The pastor acknowledged the name was a fake one she used during her troubled past, which included a stint working as a prostitute in the 1970s.
