Black cop crime: An off-duty NYPD officer has been arrested in upstate New York for having sexual contact with an underage boy

Rosandre Burgher, 26, who is assigned to the 46th Precinct in the Bronx, is accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old boy on numerous occasions from February to June of 2012, Wallkill Police said. A tipster called the NYPD to report the crime, officials said, and Burgher was subsequently arrested. He was charged with third-degree criminal sexual act, unlawfully dealing with a child and endangering the welfare of a child. Burgher has been on the force since 2006 and earned $56,609 in 2011.
