A teenager accused of killing his middle school classmate has been arrested in Texas, after jumping bail with his mother and fleeing with Pakistani passports

Hammad Memon, 16, and his mother, Safia Memon, were arrested in Dallas, said Madison police Lt. John Stringer after his mother's cellphone was used to track them down. The teenager is accused of the fatal shooting of 14-year-old Todd Brown at Discovery Middle School in February 2010 in Madison, Alabama. Hammad was 14 at the time of the shooting."There is no question in my mind they were fleeing and planning on leaving the country," Madison County Prosecutor Tim Gann said. "After all the evidence that has been uncovered there is no question. I think they were looking to get on an airplane back to Pakistan." A judge revoked bail for the dual-citizenship teen after authorities learned that he had obtained a Pakistani passport and was considered a flight risk, Lt Stringer said.
