Why India is still a Third World country

India has 18% of the world's population; but just 4% of the world's renewable water sources. A single tap - which the government turns on just three times a day - is shared by around 100,000 people in one area of New Delhi, India's capital.

Asia as a whole has 60% of the world's population, and just 36% of its potable water, and there is no good way for them to get out of such a mess.
