Muslims and Jews in the United States remain among the most ardent supporters of Barack Obama

The Gallup survey showed 78% of Muslims and 61% of Jews approved of Obama's job performance. Among Protestants, which represent a majority of Americans, Obama's approval rating has slipped to 43% in the latest poll from 58% in 2009. Catholics gave him a 50% approval rating down from 67% in 2009.
