Crime Stoppers tip leads to arrest of black rapist

Lesnick Jones, 18, was being sought on a warrant for a November 2009 rape and had failed to appear for trial previously. He was found guilty in absentia at that time. Jones is expected to be sentenced in April 2011. Jones had been featured in a Crime Stoppers report in local media and police say that led to a tip that resulted in the arrest. Two other men at the residence where the arrest took place were arrested for assisting a criminal.
