The victim remains in a critical state in an Athens hospital, having suffered multiple injuries during the attack. Now, the Pakistani national who was arrested in connection with the attack has admitted his responsibility. The 21-year-old gardener, who fled the island for Athens hours after the attack occurred, will appear in court.
