Black man arrested on new child porn charges

In December 2010, African-American Greg McKee was indefinitely suspended by and subsequently dismissed from the UConn football program after being charged with multiple counts related to the possession of child pornography. Now, the 19-year-old McKee has turned himself into Connecticut state police and was arraigned on charges of first-degree possession of child pornography, second-degree larceny and computer crime. McKee had been the target of an investigation stemming from his time at UConn and a warrant had been issued for his arrest. A computer owned by McKee and seized during the investigation, which began in September of 2010, contained 96 still photos and 26 video files of 5- to 10-year-old boys engaged in sexual acts. He had been charged a little over a year ago with importing child pornography, obscenity and promoting a minor in an obscene performance. The seized computer was evaluated at a forensics laboratory, leading to the discovery of child pornography and the charges against McKee.
