Police in Michigan have launched a manhunt after seven people were found shot dead in two houses in the city of Grand Rapids

The suspect is a black man named Rodrick Shonte Dantzler, 31. He is believed to be armed, police said. The manhunt began after four people were found dead in one home and three others in another across the city. The victims were five women, a man and a child. "We consider him armed and dangerous," Sgt Jon Wu of Grand Rapids police said. Authorities believe that the suspect may be headed towards Detroit, where he has connections.
