According to a statistic from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT), traffic accidents are the leading cause of death for young, black males up to age 14. Dying in a car accident is the second leading cause of death for black males 15 - 24. For Hispanic males, car accidents are the leading cause of death for ages 0 - 35.
