Police say that two black pimps were operating a prostitution ring in Newport News, and among the women involved was a 13-year-old girl

25-year-old Roberto Antoine Darden and 37-year-old Ujima Crudup are being held without bond. Darden and Crudup went before a federal judge in Newport News, and now the case is being sent to a grand jury. According to an affidavit, one of Roberto Darden's ex-girlfriends told authorities that Darden was not only an aspiring rap artist, but involved in prostitution as well. The 13-year-old victim told police that she met Darden through the online social networking site BlackPlanet.com. Darden lured her into working as an escort. According to the affidavit, he gave her "booze baptisms" where he poured alcohol down her throat. The 13-year-old told authorities that she had intercourse with 10 to 11 men a weekend, and that she tried to quit but Darden threatened to release a videotape of her working. Ujima Crudup was the videographer and sex tape editor.
