An illegal alien from Mexico has admitted that he conspired with his girlfriend to distribute methamphetamine

Luis Guzman-Hernandez, 31, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy before Chief U.S. District Judge Richard Cebull. Assistant U.S. Attorney Vincent Carroll said that Guzman-Hernandez and his girlfriend, Susan LaForge, twice sold a little more than 6 grams of meth to a confidential source for $800 in the parking lot of the Heights Walmart. LaForge, of Wyola, pleaded guilty to a similar charge and is awaiting sentencing. Guzman-Hernandez also was sentenced earlier in 2011 to one year in prison for illegal re-entry and to six months in prison for two misdemeanor assault convictions for assaulting LaForge. Guzman-Hernandez remains in custody and faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and a maximum $1 million fine.
