Recently - and quietly - various officials within the Obama Administration announced a plan to suspend the deportation orders of 300,000 illegal aliens who have already been issued such orders by a U.S. court of law

In addition to being allowed to stay in the country, each of these 300,000 illegal aliens may also be eligible for work visas, allowing them to live and work legally in states like New Jersey, taking away employment opportunities from unemployed citizens in New Jersey who are unable to find a full-time job. "Once again, President Obama has put the desires of the pro-amnesty movement above the New Jersey citizens he has taken an oath to protect. Such a policy cannot be allowed to stand," said former New Jersey Police commander Thomas Teslara. With a Justice Department fiercely focusing on taking legal action against state laws that help to combat illegal aliens and crimes they commit, a group of U.S. Senators is asking the Obama Administration to stop ignoring local ordinances that undermine federal laws by offering illegal aliens sanctuary. Two cities were recently added to the growing list of so-called sanctuary cities that protect illegal - even criminal - aliens from Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents: Washington, D.C., and New York City. The fact that the President of the United States lives in a location officially designated a sanctuary from the President's own administration has reached the level of absurdity, according to former police commander and homeland security specialist Sid Franes. "Doesn't anyone in the mainstream media see the anti-American, pro-Mexican leanings of the current White House occupants? There should be moral outrage that federal agencies that deal with illegal aliens don't have authority to enforce federal immigration laws," Franes noted. "Authorizing illegal aliens to work here when we're experiencing a 9.1% unemployment rate is a great idea. Flooding the labor market with cheap illegal alien labor will certainly help us pull out of this downward spiral we're in. Add the taxpayer funded benefits that illegal aliens use, including the free education their children receive, and you have a wonderful recipe for success, as long as you are measuring success using the standard of increasing Democrat voters and SEIU members," said officials from the National Border Patrol Council.
